2013年4月10日，由兰州大学伊斯兰文化研究所所长、哲学社会学院丁士仁教授主持的中央高校基本科研业务费项目《中国伊斯兰文献汇编》已经取得重要进展。自2011年12月项目启动以来，项目组成员不辞劳苦上山下乡，在民间广泛搜集反映伊斯兰文化在中国传播和发展的各种文献，目前已经搜集到各种各类文献近300种，并完成了第一批106卷(册)的整理和编排工作。
《中国伊斯兰文献汇编》根据中国伊斯兰文献的性质将资料分为经、训、法、哲、文、学、颂、杂八部，预计五年时间将完成500卷的规模。第一批106卷以经部和法部为主，汇编了世界上稀有的《古兰经》手抄版本和明清时期中国木刻和石印的《古兰经》版本，是我国独有的版本。中国伊斯兰文献的搜集和整理，将为该校开展伊斯兰文化研究奠定坚实的文献基础，为搭建阿拉伯世界与中国少数民族文化研究平台、发展中国特色的伊斯兰文化研究发挥积极的促进作用。
